Work History:
Joined Bank of New South Wales 4/2/1974 which changed to Westpac in 1982. Started at – Wooloongabba Branch in Brisbane and then worked in Taroom, St George Cleveland, Wynnum, Clifton, Blackwater, Yeronga, Lake Street Cairns, Cairns Commercial Banking Centre, Longreach, Pialba Hervey Bay, Maryborough and finally as a Mobile Housing Finance Manager for the Wide Bay Region resigning in March 1996.
Moved to Sunshine Coast and established Mortgage Broking business. Over the next 10 year I sub-contracted to other organisations to both supplement income and build on experiences:
a.) Worked in association with Trade Exchange working in Trade Dollars such as barter Card, World Trade Dollars, Contrabart and others. The Trade exchanges traded in product and services and Real Estate.
b.) Worked in association with Venture Capital Organisation raising Capital for start-up businesses through Pooled Development Funds
c.) Worked in association with Home Builder’s selling homes to Investors, owner occupiers and First Home Buyers on Bribie Island and the Sunshine Coast
d.) Worked in association with a Real Estate business specialising in the marketing and sale of SMEs
e.) Worked in association with organisations who specialised in the marketing of Defence Housing, Serviced Apartments and “off-the-plan” sales in Inner City Apartments and suburban Townhouse Developments working with many clients from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Canberra.
Joined Bank of Queensland in March 2006 as the Corporate Manager for Caloundra later purchasing the Franchise in February 2007 as running as an Owner Manager until end of February 2014.
